Dear Chamber Members,
The NEW Manufacturing Alliance in partnership with the Marinette Menominee Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a complimentary training program to enhance/start your company’s college internship program. The “How to Host a Successful College Internship” will be held on Wednesday, February 22 from 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at UW-Marinette, room M117.
The training program will include manufacturers from leading companies such as Waupaca Foundry and EMT International sharing their best practices in hosting a successful college internship. You will hear directly from college students on what they are looking for in a college internship program. Plus, each attendee will receive “Starting and Maintaining a Quality Internship Program” booklet from Michael True. He is the Senior Associate for Talent Development & Marketing in the Career & Professional Development Center at Messiah College in Pennsylvania and considered an expert in developing successful internship programs.
If you or other members of your team are interested in attending, please RSVP by February 15, 2017. An accurate attendance count is needed to insure enough booklets are available.
