MMACF Hosts Women Empowering the Community Event
Menominee, MI - In celebration of International Women's Day, the M&M Area Community Foundation is inviting community members to participate in a webinar presentation. Participants will join leaders from the Women’s Giving Circle of the MMACF to look at the transformative role of women in giving. This webinar is designed to examine how to build and sustain powerful relationships with women donors through giving circles and other avenues to effectively engage and invest in women and girls throughout Marinette and Menominee Counties.
This dynamic learning opportunity will take place from noon – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1st at the Bellin Health Marinette conference room and will be hosted by Meghan Cummings, Executive Director of The Women's Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation and Dr. Marcia Cone founding CEO of the Women's Fund of Rhode Island. Meghan is passionate about addressing poverty issues by igniting public will and inspiring individuals, companies and foundations to collaborate in new ways. Marcia successfully advocates for policy advances, including women's leadership, representation and paid family leave.
Giving circles have become a powerful force in philanthropy, and women’s giving circles in particular have become a driving force to empower women donors from diverse backgrounds to make meaningful impact. Join us to learn more about the M&M Area Community Foundation’s Women’s Giving Circle and how you can positively impact women!
